Month Two: Your MoodYou will be giddy. You will tell people you are not telling people because there is still so big a risk of miscarriage before the thirteenth week. Everyone will say, That's a good idea not to tell people. Your mother will say, "I had two miscarriages between you and your brother." And you will imagine bloody bits of baby seeping out your mom's vagina. Your own vagina will tingle, but that will not stop you. You will continue to tell people you are pregnant. You will tell them how you triumphed over your hesitant husband the night you tossed the birth control. Then you will obsess over how awful it will be to miscarry after you have told everyone about the pregnancy. You will imagine picking up the phone twenty times in one day and people will say,"How's the baby?" and you will say, "Dead."  Month Three: Your Naps | Your Amnio |
